The project House of Hope is a rehabilitation project for street
boys in the city of Fortaleza, Brazil.

Activities
Street evangelism Developing relationships with the
street boys through conversation, food distribution, and
ministering to their lives through praise and worship.
Visits to the families of the street
boys Ministering the Word of God in practical ways, taking
food supplies, and fulfilling other needs, including the physical,
spiritual and emotional areas.
Open-air worship meetings Holding weekly worship
meetings in the slums, specifically for the street kids,
prostitutes and drug pushers. The lives of these people are deeply
ministered to through praise and worship, and the Word of God.
Internal
Activities Receiving street boys in: The street boys who
want a change of life are received in off the streets for an
undetermined period of time.
Phases of growth The boys go through several phases
of development, each phase having more priveleges and confidence.
Discipleship From the first day on, the boys have
intense training including Bible studies, practical guidance,
memory verses and personal attention.
Sports Several types of sports such as surf,
handball, volleyball, and basketball are practiced daily as part
of the development and discipleship of the boys.
Vocational training During their time in the
project, the boys go to public school and vocational training
courses.
